“Would Pie have caught that?”
Each time Nolan Reimold fails to run down a fly ball in left-center field, a reporter will turn to the guy next to him and bring up Felix Pie’s name.

Jeremy Guthrie has allowed three runs over the last two innings. He struck out Carlos Pena on an 85 mph slider for the second out of the fourth inning, but B.J. Upton singled up the middle to cut the Orioles’ lead to 2-1. He retired Ben Zobrist on a soft liner to Miguel Tejada for the second out of the fifth inning, but Longoria put Tampa Bay ahead.
He also started more press box chatter about Pie.
Tough night for Luke Scott, who has struck out three times.
