Orioles make series of roster moves

The Orioles today announced that catcher Nick Hundley has reported to the club, infielder Chris Davis has been placed on the paternity list, right-hander Preston Guilmet has been recalled from Triple-A Norfolk and infielder Steve Lombardozzi has been optioned to Norfolk.
Hundley, 30, was acquired Saturday from San Diego. He batted .271 (16-59) with a homer and three RBI in 33 games for the Padres. Hundley, 30, was acquired Saturday from San Diego. He batted .271 (16-59) with a homer and three RBI in 33 games for the Padres. Over seven major league seasons, all with the Padres, Hundley is a career .238 hitter (392-1644) with 47 homers and 195 RBI in 510 games. In 467 major league games behind the plate, he has a .990 fielding percentage and has thrown out 130 of 470 runners attempting to steal (28 percent).
Davis, 28, batted .260 with seven homers and 25 RBI in 35 games for the Orioles.
Guilmet, 26, has appeared in three games in relief for the Orioles this season, working four scoreless innings with four strikeouts. He tossed a season-high 2.1 scoreless innings with a strikeout Friday against Cleveland.
Lombardozzi, 25, has batted .288 (21-73) with two RBI in 20 games with the Orioles in 2014. He batted .294 (20-68) with eight RBI in 17 games for Norfolk.
