Update: Right-hander Kevin Gausman is in the Orioles clubhouse, but has not yet been recalled. He isn’t expected to be activated today, but figures to be added to the 25-man roster and make Saturday’s start if Miguel Gonzalez goes on the disabled list.
Also, I’ve heard from a few people that left-hander Johan Santana left his extended spring training start today with an injury, but not to his shoulder. His shoulder is fine. Santana was hit by a line drive and I’m waiting to get more details.
Manager Buck Showalter should have an update.
