Not much to report at Camden Yards before tonight’s game against the Athletics.
No news is… no news.
The Orioles made their roster move official, recalling pitcher Kevin Gausman from Triple-A Norfolk and optioning left-hander Tim Berry to Double-A Bowie, which is in Portland, Maine, through Sunday.
None of the current Athletics have faced Gausman. Chris Davis is 2-for-2 against Oakland right-hander Sonny Gray.

Catcher Matt Wieters threw again today on the field. That’s his fifth game of catch by my count.
Manager Buck Showalter said there was “nothing really new there.”
Tommy Hunter was added to Single-A Delmarva’s roster tonight for his rehab game. He won’t start and he won’t pitch the ninth, but he’ll be used somewhere in between and head back to Camden Yards.
“Dave (Wallace) had a good idea,” Showalter said. “You start a relief pitcher and then let Tommy follow him and then let their starter go. That disrupts their club the least. So, I think that’s the plan.”
The Orioles expect to activate Hunter from the disabled list before Sunday’s game, so another roster move is coming.
Nick Markakis is batting .404 (23-for-57) in the first inning this season.
Orioles starters have allowed two earned runs or fewer in six of the last eight games, posting a 1.96 ERA in 36 2/3 innings.
The Orioles lead the majors with a .290 average with runners in scoring position.
J.J. Hardy hasn’t homered in 74 games and 290 at-bats and he’s in a fielding slump with four errors in the last two nights, but he’s batting .333/.361/.415 in his last 35 games since May 1 to rank second among major league shortstops behind Colorado’s Troy Tulowitzki (.355).
Delmarva posted the lowest May ERA (2.11) of any full-season affiliated club in the minors. Props to new pitching coach Alan Mills, who moved up from short-season Single-A Aberdeen.
Here are the pitching matchups for the series against the Red Sox that begins Monday night at Camden Yards:
Monday – Bud Norris (4-5, 4.41 ERA) versus Jake Peavy (1-3, 4.72 ERA)
Tuesday – Chris Tillman (5-2, 5.20 ERA) versus Brandon Workman (0-0, 3.74 ERA)
Wednesday – Wei-Yin Chen (6-2, 4.13 ERA) versus Rubby De La Rosa (1-1, 2.84 ERA)
