RHP Brad Bergesen (6-3, 3.54) today makes his 17th start of this season, his 7th on the road and his 2nd this year vs. the White Sox.
In the final game before the All-Star break, Bergesen got the win vs. Toronto. In 6 2/3, he gave up seven hits and two runs, throwing 91 pitches.

Buehrle pitched in his 4th All-Star game on Tuesday. He pitched a scoreless 3rd inning vs. the National League, retiring Chase Utley, Albert Pujols and Ryan Braun in order on just nine pitches.
This was just two days after Buehrle’s worst start of this season, when he gave 10 hits and eight runs in 3 1/3 Sunday vs. Minnesota.
Buehrle has made 11 quality starts on the year and the Sox have a record of 13-5 in his 18 starts. In ten home starts, he is 5-1, 2.98.
In his last 24 starts at U.S. Cellular Field, Buehrle is 16-2, 2.43 (44ER in 163IP).
The 30-year-old has made 30 starts and pitched over 200 innings for eight consecutive seasons. He led the AL in innings in 2004 and 2005.
