Nolan Reimold played a few innings in left field in the intrasquad game, but he’ll make his first start there in an exhibition game at 1:05 p.m. Set your watches.
You can’t stop the presses on a blog, but you can make a big deal over anything.
“I heard it’s supposed to be a sellout,” Reimold said.
Thanks for playing along, Nolan.

I reminded him that he’s the second-biggest story today, behind Stephen Strasburg’s debut for the Nationals. But I’m sure MASN will switch over each time a fly ball is hit to Reimold. Maybe the network can run a scroll at the bottom of the screen.
Reimold didn’t play in an exhibition game until serving as the DH in Saturday’s game in Lakeland. Now he’ll patrol left field and get a few at-bats.
“It’s a nice progression – work my way into it, take it slow, get out there and get my feet wet in the field in a game,” he said.
Reimold will likely take tomorrow off and play again on Thursday.
“I’m working my way into playing every day.” he said.
“I feel pretty good right now.”
