Also just around the corner is the fifth annual KidsPeace Trick-or-Trot 5K/1 Mile Walk presented by OneMain Financial, set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Camden Yards.
KidsPeace, in partnership with the Baltimore Orioles and Angela and Buck Showalter, invites the Baltimore community to run or walk in support of kids in foster care. Enjoy a great course and finish on the field at Camden Yards joined by none other than the Oriole Bird! In true holiday fashion, all participants are welcome to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume (or as your favorite Oriole). Immediately following the race, KidsPeace will host a post-race party along with Buck and Angela Showalter that will include costume contests, face painting, great food and more.
All proceeds benefit KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs of Maryland and Washington, D.C. The first 700 registered runners and walkers will receive an Under Armour race shirt.
Lace up those sneakers, and back the Birds and the community for a great cause. For more information on KidsPeace, please visit www.KidsPeace.org.
Register for the race here.
