Ryan Flaherty is starting at second base, one day after hitting his second homer of the year. The native of Maine is 5-for-11 with a double and homer over his last three games, and is a career .386/.435/.561 hitter in 57 at-bats at Fenway Park.

According to Elias, Adam Jones is the first player in Orioles history to record at least four hits with five or more RBIs in a game at Fenway Park. Only two other players have done so in the last 18 seasons – Lyle Overbay and Mark Teixeira in 2010.
