NEW YORK – Shortstop J.J. Hardy is back with the team and will be in the Orioles lineup for the first time this season. Hardy began the season on the disabled list with a left shoulder strain. He’ll bat seventh.
No corresponding roster move has been announced yet.
Infielder Ryan Flaherty took early batting practice this afternoon with outfielder David Lough and catcher Ryan Lavarnway. Flaherty is eligible to come off the disabled list Friday.

Chris Tillman has allowed two earned runs or fewer in 10 of his last 13 road starts since May 31, 2014, going 6-3 with a 3.29 ERA.
Tillman posted a 1.98 ERA in four starts against the Yankees last season and tossed seven scoreless innings in his only game in the Bronx.
Steve Pearce is back in the lineup. He pinch-hit yesterday but hasn’t started since May 3 as he was sidelined with a stomach virus. He’ll play second base and bat sixth.
