Mark Hendrickson tossed a perfect fourth inning, getting two fly balls and a sparkling defensive play from second baseman Miguel Abreu.
Abreu made a diving stop and throw to retire Tug Hulett. He pumped his fist as the out was recorded, took the return throw from first baseman Garrett Atkins and whipped the ball into the Red Sox’s dugout.
You can’t give him an error on that one.

Luke Scott singled with two outs in the third, but Atkins struck out. The Orioles went down in order in the fourth, with Boof Bonser striking out Cesar Izturis and Adam Jones.
He’s still my favorite Boof in baseball. It’s not even close.
Will Ohman gave up a leadoff single to Aaron Bates in the fifth, but he struck out Jacoby Ellsbury and J.D. Drew, and Victor Martinez grounded to third.
Orioles 3, Red Sox 1.
Jonathan Tucker made a nice running catch near the fence in left-center field to open the sixth with Kam Mickolio on the mound, and Miguel Abreu followed with another gem at second base, making a sliding stop and throw.
Mike Gonzalez was supposed to pitch today, but he’s left the ballpark. We’ll find out why later.
