The current six-game streak matches the longest winning streak since manager Buck Showalter took the helm of the Orioles on Aug. 2, 2010. The last six-game winning streak was set Sept. 7-12, 2014. Also, the Birds won six-straight games Sept. 16-22, 2012 and Aug. 22-28, 2011 under Showalter.

On the mound today, Mike Wright (2-1, 2.96 ERA) faces right-hander Adam Warren (4-4, 3.64 ERA).

In his first two major league starts, Wright pitched 14 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing seven hits. In his last two, he has allowed 14 hits and eight runs, allowing four homers over 10 innings. Wright has allowed seven of his eight runs this year in the third inning. His most recent outing was at Triple-A Norfolk last Sunday, and he gave up just one run in six innings against Charlotte.

Warren is making his 12th start of 2015 and has put together a streak of five consecutive quality starts coming into this outing. He is 2-3 with a 2.70 ERA and .198 average against in those five starts.

The Yankees are 7-3 in his 10 starts this season. Warren is 1-2 with a 6.89 ERA in 11 career games against the Orioles. He gave up two runs and seven hits over 4 2/3 innings in a start versus Baltimore on May 8, getting a no-decision.

Manny Machado extended his hitting streak to seven games Saturday, going 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBIs. During that streak, he has recorded six multi-hit efforts and is batting .467 (14-for-30) with a double, three homers and seven RBIs. Machado matched his career-high RBI mark for the fifth time (last, April 23 at Toronto) and has now hit safely in 37 of his last 48 contests, batting .316/.364/.542 (60-190) with 22 extra-base hits and 18 multi-hit efforts.
