The Orioles today announced that they will host their third official legacy book signing featuring longtime Baltimore sportswriter and author of “Baltimore Orioles: 60 Years of Orioles Magic,” Jim Henneman, on Saturday, August 15, prior to the Orioles 7:05 p.m. game against the Oakland Athletics. Henneman will sign from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Official Orioles Team Store at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Beginning with the return of Major League Baseball to Charm City and encompassing the team’s 2014 American League East Division title and postseason run, the book’s contents capture the club’s iconic moments across the past six decades. The book is highlighted by the writing of Henneman, a foreword written by Orioles Legend and Hall of Famer Jim Palmer, more than 300 photographs, including numerous never-before released images, and unique, re-printed historical documents.
Fans can purchase the Orioles official legacy book at the signing for $50. Books are also available for purchase online at www.orioles.com/book or at the Official Orioles Team Store at the York Galleria in York, PA.
