Roe threw 25 pitches and said his shoulder felt good. He’ll have a rehab game Monday.
Roe has been a solid reliever for the O’s this season before dealing with shoulder tendinitis, which sent him to the disabled list Aug. 10. Roe posted a 2.43 ERA through July before watching it rise to 3.12 after three appearances in August.
J.J. Hardy has also joined the team. He had a platelet-rich plasma injection Wednesday and hopes to stay with the team for treatments on his strained left groin.
