The Orioles today announced that they have recalled right-hander Oliver Drake, outfielder Junior Lake, infielder Christian Walker and right-hander Tyler Wilson from Triple-A Norfolk.

The Orioles today announced that they have recalled right-hander Oliver Drake, outfielder Junior Lake, infielder Christian Walker and right-hander Tyler Wilson from Triple-A Norfolk.
Drake, 28, posted a 0.82 ERA (44.0IP, 4ER) in 42 games with the Tides this season. He finished second in the International League with 23 saves (going 23-for-23 in save opportunities) and was named to the International League Postseason All-Star Team. Drake made three appearances in the Governors’ Cup Playoffs, tossing 3.0 scoreless innings and earned the save in Game 4 of the International League semifinals. In eight games with the Orioles this season, he posted a 4.22 ERA (10.2IP, 5ER) after making his Major League debut on May 23 at Miami.
Lake, 25, batted .300/.410/.360 (15-50) with three doubles and five RBI in 15 games with Triple-A Norfolk after being acquired from the Chicago Cubs on July 31 in exchange for RHP Tommy Hunter. He hit a combined .312/.405/.449 (77-247) with 13 doubles, seven home runs, and 36 RBI in 73 games between the Tides and Triple-A Iowa Cubs this season. In 26 Major League games between the Orioles and Chicago Cubs this season, Lake has batted .211/.250/.342 (16-76) with seven doubles, a home run, and five RBI.
Walker, 24, hit .257/.324/.423 (137-534) with 33 doubles, a triple, 18 home runs, and 74 RBI over 138 games with the Tides this season including a .306/.370/.551 (45-147) slash line against left-handed pitchers. Walker led the International League in at-bats (534), finished tied for second in games played (138), tied for third in doubles (33) and extra-base hits (52), and fourth in total bases (226). He hit safely in 15 of his last 17 games with Triple-A Norfolk, including a 13-game hitting streak from August 22-September 3 (.347/.396/.653). Over seven career Major League games, Walker has hit .200/.273/.400 (4-20) with a double and a home run.
Wilson, 25, went 5-5 with a 3.24 ERA (94.1IP, 34ER) and nine Quality Starts over 17 starts with the Tides this season. In 11 starts with Triple-A Norfolk since May 11, Wilson went 4-1 with a 3.06 ERA (61.2IP, 21ER). He made his Major League debut with the Orioles on May 20 vs. Seattle and went 2-1 with a 2.19 ERA (24.2IP, 6ER) over six games (two starts) with Baltimore this season.
