The Orioles have reinstated pitcher Dylan Bundy from the 60-day disabled list as he prepares for today’s start in the Arizona Fall League.
Bundy, 22, has been added to the Peoria Javelinas roster and is in Mesa to face the Solar Sox. He’s taking the roster spot vacated by pitcher Jon Keller, who’s sidelined with a sore oblique muscle.

Bundy flew to Arizona last Monday after completing a throwing program in Sarasota. He hasn’t pitched in a game in six months.
The Orioles placed Bundy on the 60-day disabled list on Sept. 24 with a right shoulder strain. He made eight starts with Double-A Bowie, going 0-3 with a 3.68 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 22 innings. His last outing came on May 21 in Trenton.
Bundy made two relief appearances with the Orioles in 2012 before undergoing ligament-reconstructive surgery on his right elbow. He’s out of minor league options and must break camp with the team next spring or be placed on the disabled list or exposed to waivers.
Dr. James Andrews cleared Bundy in September to start a throwing program after the former first-round pick was shut down with discomfort caused by calcification in the Teres minor muscle behind his right shoulder.
The Orioles now have 35 players on their 40-man roster. Their six pending free agents – Chris Davis, Matt Wieters, Wei-Yin Chen, Darren O’Day, Steve Pearce and Gerardo Parra – were removed following the World Series.
Nice timing.
