Winter Meetings: Wrapping up early for O’s FanFest

You may have noticed that I didn’t file my blog post from Nashville yesterday. As soon as I shot Dan Duquette’s interview, I hopped on a plane for a flight home to prepare for O’s FanFest.
While I left a day early – and with lots of leftover editing work for my colleague, Bobby Blanco – I still had a full experience at the Winter Meetings. However, I did have to miss the Rule 5 draft, (my favorite day of the Winter Meetings).

Meanwhile, while Buck Showalter was holding his Winter Meetings press conference, a new face showed up on Twitter. Hint: This account will give you a bird’s eye view of the Orioles.

But back to the Winter Meetings news. You can check out the videos I shot of Duquette and Showalter below.
They discussed various topics and addressed various rumors and buzz, mostly surrounding Chris Davis.
While Showalter drew a big media crowd for his press conference, there was a familiar face everyone recognized. Catcher Caleb Joseph showed up!
