Infielder Joey Terdoslavich cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk, according to a tweet from the Orioles.
The Orioles designated Terdoslavich for assignment last week to make room for first baseman Chris Davis on the 40-man roster.
Terdoslavich, a switch-hitter who also plays the outfield, was selected off waivers from the Braves on Jan. 8. He didn’t last long on the 40-man, but he remains in the organization.

The Orioles designated outfielder L.J. Hoes for assignment this week to make room for outfielder/first baseman Efren Navarro, who was acquired from the Angels for cash considerations. Hoes’ future in the organization remains uncertain, but the club would like to keep him.
Meanwhile, the suggestion that the Orioles could benefit from the Rockies’ surplus of outfielders no longer seems realistic after Colorado sent Corey Dickerson to the Rays this afternoon for reliever Jake McGee and a minor leaguer, according to reports.
The Orioles would like to acquire another corner outfielder and the Rockies had one to spare after signing Gerardo Parra. That’s no longer the case.
McGee has held the current Orioles to a .184 average. Manny Machado is 1-for-9 with six strikeouts, Adam Jones is 2-for-11 with five strikeouts, Davis is 3-for-11 with a double, home run and eight strikeouts, and Matt Wieters is 0-for-3 with three strikeouts.
McGee has limited the Orioles to one run in 12 career innings at Camden Yards, walking none and striking out 21. It doesn’t hurt to get him out of the division.
In case you missed it, the Orioles have released a newly designed spring training uniform and cap for this season’s Grapefruit League play.
