The Orioles play three straight home games after today before subjecting us to back-to-back night games in Bradenton on Wednesday and Fort Myers on Thursday.
The Friday afternoon game against the Florida Marlins in Sarasota will be a tough turnaround, but that’s why they have spring training. We’re getting ready for a 162-game season.

Looking ahead to Monday, left-hander Brian Matusz makes his second start when the Orioles take on the Minnesota Twins. Jim Johnson, Koji Uehara and Wilfrido Perez also are slated to pitch.
Getting back to today, manager Dave Trembley will meet with the media shortly before 11 a.m. I’m heading down to the field.
