Each game brings another friendly debate in the press box.
That’s part of the fun.
Did manager Dave Trembley stay too long with Kevin Millwood?
I say no.
Should a right-hander have been warming in the bullpen alongside lefty Will Ohman?
I say yes.

Millwood gave up a two-out single to Dustin Pedroia that could have given Boston the lead – except Red Sox manager Terry Francona didn’t pinch-run for catcher Jason Varitek, who would lose a race to a snail, though it might bring a photo finish.
Third base coach Tim Bogar waved Varitek home, even though Nolan Reimold fielded the ball before the Red Sox’s veteran had reached the bag. The play at the plate wasn’t close. Craig Tatum reached up for Nolan Reimold’s throw and waited patiently until Varitek arrived.
I’m pretty sure I saw Tatum tweeting before he applied the tag to keep the game tied.
Millwood didn’t get a close pitch before walking Marco Scutaro, which brought Pedroia to the plate.
Please don’t squeeze the starter.
Now we’re wondering whether Ty Wigginton should have bunted with runners on first and second and none out in the eighth. You know the Red Sox will walk Miguel Tejada with Luke Scott on deck.
Update: Scott swung through a 99 mph fastball from Daniel Bard with the count full, and Reimold struck out looking. Here comes Ohman.
