Double-A Bowie’s Steve Johnson got another no-decision tonight after holding Richmond to two hits over six scoreless innings. He walked four and struck out six, and he’ll wake up tomorrow with a 3.08 ERA.
Johnson hasn’t gotten the win in three starts this season when he’s shut out the opponent.
Triple-A Norfolk’s Jake Arrieta allowed three runs (two earned) and four hits over seven innings, with five walks and six strikeouts. Arrieta threw 106 pitches, 62 for strikes. His ERA stands at 1.67.
Brandon Snyder hit Norfolk’s third triple of the night and drove in two runs.
Corey Patterson went 2-for-3 with a triple and is batting .385. We’ll find out tomorrow whether that’s good enough for a promotion.
Scott Moore went 3-for-4 with a triple.
Single-A Frederick’s Kyle Hudson is 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Billy Rowell is 1-for-5 with three RBIs.
