Pearce, 33, has hit .309/.388/.520 (63-for-204) with 11 doubles, one triple, 10 home runs and 29 RBIs over 60 games with the Rays this season. Over parts of four seasons with the Orioles from 2012-15, Pearce batted .258/.338/.478 with 50 doubles, one triple, 43 home runs and 116 RBIs in 266 games. He set career highs in 2014 with 26 doubles, 21 home runs and 49 RBIs in 102 games with Baltimore. Over 544 career major league games, Pearce has hit .255/.334/.442 with 94 doubles, six triples, 63 home runs and 209 RBIs. Pearce was originally selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the eighth round of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft.

Heim, 21, batted .216/.300/.344 (63-for-291) with 14 doubles, one triple, seven home runs and 30 RBIs over 88 games with Single-A Frederick this season. Over 206 career minor league games, Heim hit .216/.281/.320 with 39 doubles, two triples, nine home runs and 59 RBIs.
