OAKLAND – Shortstop J.J. Hardy moves up to second in the Orioles lineup tonight and first baseman Chris Davis moves down to sixth against Athletics left-hander Ross Detwiler.
Hardy hasn’t batted second since May 24, 2014.
Caleb Joseph is catching and Matt Wieters is serving as the designated hitter.
Second baseman Jonathan Schoop moves up to fifth as another part of the lineup shakeup.
