The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated catcher Matt Wieters from the paternity leave list and optioned catcher Caleb Joseph to Triple-A Norfolk.
Wieters, 30, has hit .240/.294/.381 (75-for-312) with 12 doubles, one triple, 10 home runs and 45 RBIs over 91 games with the Orioles this season.
