The story remains the same. The O’s offense continues to be one of the worst in the game.
Today, Cleveland beat the punchless O’s 5-1, as Jake Westbrook, now 2-2, pitched a complete-game, nine-hitter.
Down to their last out, the O’s avoided their fourth shutout when Luke Scott homered to left.

Mark Hendrickson made his first start of the year when David Hernandez was scratched due to a sore shoulder. He took the loss, allowing three runs over five frames. Matt LaPorta and Russell Branyan hit two-run homers for Cleveland, now 15-20.
The Orioles host Kansas City Monday at 7:05 with Brad Bergesen (3-2, 5.76) pitching vs. Kyle Davies (2-2, 5.22).
