The Orioles scored two runs in three of their six wins on the road trip. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, it’s the first time they’ve scored two runs or fewer while winning three games on the same trip since 1978.
Hall of Famer Jim Palmer registered shutouts in two of those victories – 1-0 against the Yankees and Athletics – and left-hander Scott McGregor beat the Mariners 2-1.
