The tarp is on the field at Camden Yards and batting practice again has been canceled. There’s a reason why ballparks have indoor cages.
It’s not raining at the moment.
Manager Buck Showalter said the forecast is similar to last night and the Orioles will try to play. It won’t be comfortable – Showalter said rain was blowing into the dugout last night and there was no escaping it – but every attempt will be made to avoid a postponement.

Closer Zach Britton will throw a bullpen session on Wednesday and go on an injury rehab assignment Friday, most likely at Double-A Bowie or Single-A Frederick.
Britton could be activated from the disabled list on Sunday while the Orioles are in New York or stay on his assignment for one more game.
Outfielder Joey Rickard will be in Single-A Delmarva’s lineup again tonight after going 1-for-4 with a run scored last night. He could join Single-A Frederick in Potomac on Wednesday – Showalter was determining the shortest drives for Rickard – and come off the disabled list on Friday.
Showalter left open the possibility that Rickard could be optioned to Triple-A Norfolk. However, Showalter wants to put Rickard on the 25-man roster and expand his bench. The corresponding move has been discussed.
Chris Tillman had a good bullpen session today and remains scheduled to pitch Thursday in Potomac.
The Orioles recalled left-hander Paul Fry from Norfolk earlier today and optioned reliever Paul Crichton to the Tides. Showalter wanted another lefty long reliever with Vidal Nuño and Jayson Aquino unavailable.
Fry’s stay with the Orioles could be brief, with Rickard and Britton close to coming off the disabled list.
Outfielder Michael Bourn has started playing games at extended spring training. His broken right ring finger is healed.
