Dylan Bundy is 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA in eight career games against the American League Central. He’s 3-0 with a 2.65 ERA in his three career starts.
Left-hander Jayson Aquino no longer will be recalled. He was going to join the Orioles in Kansas City, but yesterday’s rainout in D.C. provided rest for the bullpen.
The seven through nine hitters in the opposing lineup are batting .348 (16-for-46) with seven extra-base hits against Duffy this season. Maybe this bodes well for J.J. Hardy, Caleb Joseph and Gentry.
The Royals are seeking their 2,000th home win in franchise history.

Down on the farm, the Orioles have transferred pitcher Miguel Castro from Single-A Frederick to Double-A Bowie. He’s been on the Keys’ roster while throwing at extended spring training.
Welington Castillo won’t serve as Double-A Bowie’s designated hitter tonight. The Baysox’s game against Richmond was postponed due to rain, with a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday.
