Logan Verrett was recalled from Norfolk and the Orioles selected Jimmy Yacabonis’ contract. Yacabonis is wearing No. 54 in his first trip to the majors.
Jackson said he’s going to stay in Baltimore for a few days and see what happens. He isn’t sure whether he’ll accept an outright assignment if he clears waivers.

Closer Zach Britton is scheduled to pitch for the first time on June 19 at short-season Single-A Aberdeen.
