CHICAGO – Will this be the night for the Orioles? The night they end a six-game losing streak and an 11-game road losing streak that is tied for the second-longest in team history?
And what will it take? Maybe a starter pitching a great game or maybe a breakout by an offense that has scored three runs or fewer five times in the last six games.
After a rain delay of well over an hour, tonight’s game is slated to start at about 9:40 p.m. ET.

ET.
Tonight right-hander Dylan Bundy (6-5, 3.05 ERA) will make his 14th start of the year. Bundy has recorded 11 quality starts, and the team is 7-6 in his games. But even with Bundy on the mound, the team has not been winning much lately. They went 6-1 in his first seven starts, but are 1-5 since then, losing the last two.
Bundy has a WHIP of 1.137 and has allowed 7.7 hits per nine innings to go with 2.5 walks and 6.4 strikeouts. He has been strong early in most of his outings, allowing a 0.69 ERA in the first inning and 2.77 in the second.
In a previous start this year against the White Sox, Bundy got the win on May 6 in Baltimore. Over six innings he gave up six hits and three runs, throwing 105 pitches.
Former Oriole Miguel González (4-7, 4.89 ERA) gets the start for the White Sox. González has struggled recently, with an 0-2 record and 8.44 ERA his past two starts. Over his last six games, he is 1-5 with a 6.88 ERA.
González has five quality starts among his 12 outings, and Chicago is 5-7 in those games. He is 3-1 with a 3.04 ERA in four home starts.
Last month in a start in Baltimore, González pitched well but took a loss. Over 6 2/3 innings he gave up six hits and two runs over 103 pitches. In two career starts versus the Orioles he is 0-2 with a 3.55 ERA.
In 24 career games against the Orioles, José Abreu is batting .375 with five doubles, a triple, seven home runs and 15 RBIs.
The Orioles are 0-6 on this road trip and have been outscored 60-17 during a six-game losing streak. In addition to losing 11 consecutive road games, they have lost 15 of their last 16 and are 4-19 the last 23 road games.
