Manny Machado and Tim Beckham are missing from the Orioles lineup for tonight’s game against the Red Sox at Camden Yards.
Machado is sick and may not be available. Manager Buck Showalter will discuss the statuses of both players later today.
Rookie Austin Hays is leading off. J.J. Hardy is at shortstop and Ryan Flaherty is at third base.
Adam Jones stays in the lineup after an X-ray on his right hand last night came back clean. Trey Mancini is batting second.

Triple-A Norfolk pitcher Jordan Kipper has won a minor league Rawlings Gold Glove Award. Kipper, 24, registered a perfect fielding percentage while handling 42 chances in 132 1/3 innings over 26 appearances, including 19 starts.
