Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
At least if you’re measuring their impact on the 2010 Orioles.
I know it’s early. Juan Samuel has been manager for four innings. But we’ve just confirmed that there are no quick fixes.

Last year’s first-round pick, Matt Hobgood, is starting again tonight for Single-A Delmarva. He’s allowed two earned runs (three total) and six hits in six innings, with one walk and seven strikeouts. He’s also thrown two wild pitches, committed a balk and made a bad throw on a pickoff attempt.

Steven Bumbry is 2-for-2.
Joel Guzman and Caleb Joseph homered for Double-A Bowie. Guzman has 12 homers and 36 RBIs.
Triple-A Norfolk’s Armando Gabino allowed six runs (four earned) and six hits in three innings against Buffalo, and the Tides are being shut out by a pitcher named “Stoner.”
