MASN broadcaster Jim Hunter will headline the newest class of the Brookdale Community College Athletics Hall of Fame, which will hold its induction awards dinner on Friday, Feb. 9 in Freehold, N.J.

MASN broadcaster Jim Hunter will headline the newest class of the Brookdale Community College Athletics Hall of Fame, which will hold its induction awards dinner on Friday, Feb. 9 in Freehold, N.J.
Hunter, who is entering his 22nd season as a member of the Orioles broadcast team, calls games on the Orioles Radio Network and on MASN. He came to Baltimore from CBS Sports Radio, where he had been a member of the network’s Major League Baseball “Game of the Week” announcing team and broadcasted American League Championship Series.
Throughout his nearly 40-year career, Hunter also has covered Olympics games, the Super Bowl and the National League Championship Series.
A native of New Jersey, Hunter is a graduate of St. John Vianney High School in Holmdel, N.J., where he was inducted into the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame for football and baseball in 1994. He attended Brookdale Community College before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in communications arts from Seton Hall University in 1982.
Hunter resides in Fallston with his wife, Bonnie.
