Third base prospect Josh Bell has been held out of Triple-A Norfolk’s lineup for the second straight game while he’s dealing with neck spasms.
Bell might be available to play later today, but the Tides are being careful with him.

Not so fast.
The Orioles managed to score twice in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game. They already have four hits off Boston starter John Lackey.
Luke Scott doubled, Scott Moore reached on an infield hit with one out and Craig Tatum walked to load the bases. Cesar Izturis followed with an RBI single to center field and Julio Lugo grounded into a fielder’s choice.
OK, forget what I said about buying the bats.
The grounds crew had moved behind the tarp, which indicates that heavy rain is approaching, but the guys are back in their usual seats in the third inning. We’ve heard about a tornado warning, and dark clouds are moving across the sky.
