Cobb threw 93 pitches.

The Orioles could recall Cobb to make his debut on April 14 or 15 against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

Update: The Orioles have recalled Hunter Harvey from Double-A Bowie and optioned left-hander Tanner Scott to Triple-A Norfolk.

Manager Buck Showalter needed another fresh arm and preferred a right-hander, and Harvey was scheduled to start tonight for Bowie.

Harvey, a first-round pick in 2013, hasn’t pitched above low Single-A because of a series of injuries, the most serious leading to Tommy John surgery. He’s in the Orioles clubhouse this afternoon.

The Orioles didn’t want Scott working on back-to-back days after he threw yesterday in New York, so he’ll return to Norfolk’s bullpen.
