Entrants can dress in their favorite Halloween costumer – or as their favorite Orioles player – and maneuver through a chip-timed course around the Baltimore Harbor, finishing on the field at Camden Yards with the Oriole Bird.
Gift certificates will be presented to the top runners and age group winners and for the best costumes. Pre- and post-race parties featuring both Angela and Buck Showalter will be held. Other activities include face painting, food and Halloween fun.
You can register here. Cost is $40 for those 5 and over (as of Oct. 27) for both the 5K run and one-mile walk. For information on creating a corporate team, call 443-285-0220.
KidsPeace is a private charity serving the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families and communities.
All proceeds benefit KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs of Maryland – including KEYS (KidsPeace Empowering Youth to Succeed), a program which prepares youth for independence through life-skills training.
