Nolan Reimold has hit safely in four of his last five games with Triple-A Norfolk, batting .389 (7-for-18) with three RBIs. His average is up to .206.
Maybe it’s been a good idea to drop the first base experiment for a while. Stop filling his plate, and he’ll have better results when he steps up to it.
Guess who leads the Tides in RBIs (16), hits (21), doubles (six) and runs scored (11) this month?
Hint: It’s the same player who ranks second among all Orioles minor leaguers with 41 RBIs…Nolan Reimold has hit safely in four of his last five games with Triple-A Norfolk, batting .389 (7-for-18) with three RBIs. His average is up to .206.

Would you believe infielder Robert Andino?
Andino has hit safely in 15 of his last 18 games, batting .282 with two homers, 17 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Maybe we’ll see him back in Baltimore, especially if Cesar Izturis, in the final year of his contract, is traded later this summer.
Doesn’t Colorado need a shortstop?
Andino is playing a lot of second base for Norfolk while Paco Figueroa gets some starts at short. He’s committed 13 errors this season.
In case you were wondering, Double-A Bowie’s Joel Guzman leads all Orioles minor leaguers with 47 RBIs.
Going out on a limb here, but I don’t think the Orioles were counting on Guzman and Andino to rank 1 and 2. They probably wanted guys like Josh Bell, Brandon Snyder, Brandon Waring and Billy Rowell to fight for the top two spots.
Snyder is hitting .311 in his last 36 games, with four homers and 20 RBIs, and has raised his average from .181 to .255.
