David Hess returns to the mound this afternoon to close out the series against the Yankees after tossing 6 1/3 hitless innings in Toronto.

Anthony Santander homered off Germán, but he’s at Triple-A Norfolk. Jesús Sucre is 2-for-2 with a double.
Hanser Alberto stays in the lineup today, moving to second base while Jonathan Villar goes to shortstop and Richie Martin is on the bench. Martin is 2-for-22 with 11 strikeouts.
Cedric Mullins moves back up to the leadoff spot. Trey Mancini is in right field and Chris Davis is playing first base and batting seventh.
