Andrew Cashner has won three of his four decisions despite a 5.31 ERA and 1.623 WHIP in 20 1/3 innings. He’s 2-1 with a 4.13 ERA and 1.458 WHIP in four career starts against the Rays spanning 24 innings.
The Orioles have lost their last six games against the Rays. They were held to three hits last night, the fewest since Sept. 17 against the Blue Jays.
The Orioles have allowed eight runs or more in six games, but last night marked the first time it happened on the road since Sept. 26 in Boston.
