For the Orioles, after losing two games in recent days where they led 4-0 early on, tonight they changed the script.
Florida led 3-0 in the second before the Orioles took the lead with a five-run third inning and went on to an 11-5 win in the series finale with the Marlins.
The Orioles ended an 11-game losing streak vs. Florida.
The 11 runs was the most by the club since the Orioles scored a season-best 12 on May 1 versus Boston.

Miguel Tejada went 4 for 5 with a homer and 4 RBI. His three-run shot in the seventh made it a 10-4 lead and was his first homer since April 30. Tejada went a career-high 205 at bats between homers.
Adam Jones went 3-for-5 with 2 RBI and now has 11 hits over his last 21 at bats. He hit a solo homer tonight, his second in two nights and his fourth homer over the last eight games. Luke Scott also had 2 RBI for the Birds, who had 17 hits to tie their season high.
Kevin Millwood won his second straight start, allowing four runs over eight innings. He is now 2-8, 5.22.
The Orioles, now 20-52, will host Washington over the weekend. Friday night, it’s Jake Arrieta (2-1, 5.06) vs. J.D. Martin (0-3, 3.55).
