Buster Posey is 12-for-31 (.387) with two doubles, two home runs, three walks and no strikeouts against Cashner in his career. Brandon Crawford is 9-for-20 (.450) with a double and home run. Kevin Pillar is 6-for-13 (.462) with three doubles.

Since going 17-6 with a 3.32 ERA and 1.353 WHIP in 32 starts with the Red Sox in 2017, left-hander Drew Pomeranz has gone 2-6 with a 6.08 ERA and 1.770 WHIP in 26 games in 2018, and 1-5 with a 6.45 ERA and 1.726 WHIP in nine starts with the Giants this season.

Pomeranz has made only three starts in May and allowed 14 runs and 19 hits in nine innings. He’s walked seven batters and surrendered four home runs.

Pomeranz is 3-5 with a 4.14 ERA and 1.331 WHIP in 12 career games (seven starts) against the Orioles, and he’s posted a 2.78 ERA and 1.191 WHIP in seven games (three starts) covering 22 2/3 innings at Camden Yards.

Keon Broxton is 2-for-2 with a home run against Pomeranz. The current Orioles have limited exposure, with Mancini (3-for-12) having the most at-bats.

The Giants snapped a seven-game losing streak yesterday. They’re batting .189 through three games of their road trip and are 4-for-21 (.190) with runners in scoring position.

The bullpen has allowed eight earned runs in nine innings.

Giants starters have posted a 6.79 ERA this month that is the second-highest behind the Rockies’ 6.91.

Evan Longoria’s 40 home runs against the Orioles are the most among active players and his 108 RBIs rank second behind Robinson Canó’s 112. His 21 homers at Camden Yards are the most among active visiting players.
