Samardzija has made three career starts against the Orioles and gone 0-1 with a 5.49 ERA and 1.169 WHIP in 19 2/3 innings. In his lone appearance at Camden Yards, he allowed seven earned runs (eight total) and 10 hits in five innings.

Chris Davis is 3-for-9 with a home run, but he remains on the 10-day injured list.
