Going back to the Cal Ripken interview, he was asked for his thoughts on the current Orioles.

“Certainly, as a fan you kind of sit back and you feel for them,” he said. “You hope and wish things will turn around, and there are a lot of reasons for optimism. Andy’s done a good job assembling some good young talent.

“I think the slow start made everybody press and try too hard. For a young player, it’s not fair. You play outside your means when you need to learn to play within your skill set and means.”
