Brooks threw a season-high 97 pitches in his last start, allowing three runs in five innings to the Blue Jays.

In four starts against the Astros, Brooks has surrendered 14 runs and 28 hits over 23 innings while losing all three decisions.

George Springer is 3-for-9 with two home runs against Brooks.

Sanchez made his Astros debut last Saturday and joined three other pitchers on a combined no-hitter against the Mariners. Sanchez handled the first six frames.

The Orioles faced Sanchez on July 5 while he pitched for the Blue Jays and scored two runs in five innings. He walked four batters and struck out five. Davis homered off him.

Today marks Sanchez’s 20th career appearance and 15th start against the Orioles. He’s 6-4 with a 3.89 ERA and 1.494 WHIP in 85 2/3 innings.
