BOSTON – Chris Davis returns to the Orioles lineup today and they’ll try to avoid being swept in their three-game series at Fenway Park.

Left-hander Ty Blach makes his second start for the Orioles.
Nathan Eovaldi is making his fifth start for the Red Sox this season and his 16th appearance. He’s allowed 22 earned runs (23 total) and 38 hits in 34 1/3 innings.
Eovaldi is 3-0 with a 4.67 ERA and 1.673 WHIP in seven career starts against the Orioles over 34 2/3 innings.
Davis is 4-for-13 (.308) with two home runs and six strikeouts against Eovaldi. Núñez is 3-for-3 with a walk.
The Orioles have lost 11 of their last 12 games. The pitching staff has surrendered 253 home runs, five short of the major league record held by the 2016 Reds.
