Well, your ninth inning is here because the season’s final Home Run Riches second-chance drawing is Monday, Aug. 26.

The Maryland Lottery’s Home Run Riches instant ticket has a top prize of $50,000, and you can enter non-winning tickets in a second-chance contest to be the Maryland Lottery Contestant of the Game and win $500 for every Orioles home run.

It’s easy and fun! Just ask Martha Aymacana, of Cloverly, Md., who won $2,000 last week when Anthony Santander, Stevie Wilkerson and Renato Núñez each hit home runs against the Yankees. Like all Contestants of the Game, Martha started the game with $500, then extended her winnings with each longball.

To win, just enter your non-winning tickets through the My Lottery Rewards program. If your entry is chosen at random, you are the Maryland Lottery Contestant of the Game, which wins you $500 for every Orioles home run hit in that game. Since you start the game with $500, even if the O’s have a homer 0-fer, you still score!

Look for your name when you watch the Orioles play – and root for home runs – on MASN and MASN2! A new Home Run Riches Contestant of the Game is announced every time the Orioles play. But remember, the last drawing is Monday, Aug. 26, so move like you’re stealing second and enter those non-winning tickets for a second chance to win.
