Orioles 2005 first-round draft pick Brandon Snyder returns to Aberdeen tonight.
Snyder, who played for the IronBirds in parts of 2005 and 2006, will play the next three games with Aberdeen on an injury-rehab assignment.
Snyder is coming back from an upper back injury and has not played for Triple-A Norfolk since June 17. He is batting .255-5-28 in 64 games and was hitting .327 in June at the time of the injury.

My Orioles minor league tour continues tonight in Aberdeen after Bowie last night. I’ll be at Ripken Stadium tonight to watch Snyder and the Birds begin a three-game series vs. the Tri-City Valley Cats.
Aberdeen is riding high right now at 16-15 with a four-game win streak. The IronBirds scored three runs in the 9th last night at Lowell to win 8-7 and had two comebacks in the 9th to win and sweep that series.
Kipp Schutz is still hitting for Aberdeen and is second in the league in batting at .379 and is 5th in slugging.
Aberdeen has scored 28 runs during its win streak and four of its last six wins have come due to ninth-inning runs.
Tonight’s Aberdeen starting pitcher is right-hander Scott Copeland. He was drafted in round 21 last month out of Southern Mississippi.
Copeland is 0-3, 4.30 in five starts, but has given up just 14 hits over 23 innings for a batting average against of just .177.
Check back here often tonight for a report from Aberdeen while Roch keeps you up to date from Camden Yards.
