Did the last one end?
The clubhouse opens at 9 a.m. today, but players aren’t required to report that early. Interim manager Juan Samuel will meet with reporters at 11:15 a.m.
Go back to bed.
The Orioles are 7-3 in extra innings this season. I’d like to avoid watching them try to build on that record. A tidy 2 hour, 20 minute victory will suffice.

Brad Bergesen, the subject of all sorts of roster speculation, will make another start today. The pressure eases a little now that Chris Tillman has been optioned, but he still needs to dial it up.
Carlos Pena is 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and three RBIs against Bergesen. B.J. Upton is 3-for-5 with a double, home run and three RBIs.
Carl Crawford is 2-for-6 with two doubles, but he’s got much larger issues than facing Bergesen.
The bullpen’s a mess today, so Bergesen would be doing Samuel a huge favor by pitching deep into the game. Michael Gonzalez is expected to be activated this morning, and another move could be coming.
The Orioles will probably announce it while I’m changing lanes on 695. That’s usually how it works.
Bergesen hasn’t won since May 12, and he’s allowed 16 runs and 31 hits in his last four starts covering 23 2/3 innings. He faced the Rays once this season, on April 14, and gave up eight runs (five earned) in three innings.
I texted Brady Anderson last night to quiz him on the players who hit the back-to-back-to-back homers on Sept. 5, 1995. He remembered himself and Mark Smith, but forgot about Jeff Manto.
Anderson reminded me that he homered twice in that game. I totally forgot and had to look it up.
I guess Cal Ripken got most of the attention that night.
