Cedric Mullins has a 13-game hitting streak, batting .385 (20-for-52) with three doubles, a triple, two home runs, four walks, 10 runs scored and four stolen bases.
Mountcastle has hit safely in seven straight games, batting .464 (13-for-28) with three doubles, three home runs, seven RBIs and six runs scored. He has an RBI is six consecutive games.
Left-hander John Means is making his fourth start since leaving the injured list. He held the Tigers to one run in six innings in his last outing.
Means faced the Rays in his first start after being reinstated and allowed five runs and seven hits in five innings. Randy Arozarena and Francisco MejÃa hit home runs. Means also started against the Rays on May 19 and allowed four runs and six hits in 6 1/3 innings. Arozarena and Mike Brosseau hit home runs.
Arozarena is 17-for-37 (.459) against the Orioles this season, with three doubles, seven home runs, 16 RBIs and 13 runs scored. But the Rays placed him on the COVID-19 injured list today due to a close contact and recalled outfielder Jordan Luplow from Triple-A Durham.
Means is looking for his first win against a division opponent since opening day in Boston.
