The Blue Jays lead the season series 9-0 and have outscored the Orioles, 48-16.

The Orioles have dropped eight consecutive games at Rogers Centre and 17 of their last 19.

The Orioles are 0-7 on Mondays this season, including 0-4 on the road.

Most surprising to me is they’ve only played seven Monday games.

During the 10-game homestand, the Orioles were 14-for-88 (.159) with runners in scoring position and stranded 68 runners. Their opponents went 32-for-99 (.323) with RISP and left 88 runners on base.

In 10 games batting cleanup, Luke Scott is hitting .350 (14-40) with three doubles, four home runs, eight RBIs and 10 runs scored. He’s hit safely in his last 10 games played dating back to June 27, batting .486 (17-35) with six doubles, five homers, 10 RBIs and 10 runs scored.

After recording just six doubles in the first four games after the All-Star break, the Orioles have totaled 15 doubles and seven home runs in the last six games.

Cesar Izturis is eight hits away from 1,000 in his career.
