With a lockout ongoing the news has come more slowly, but there have still been some things happening, such as the announcement this week of the 2022 big league coaching staff.
So on to today’s questions.
* Trey Mancini, after missing the entire 2020 season, returned last year to produce a stat line of .255/.326/.432 and played in 147 games, which in itself was very impressive. What stats will he put up next year?
* Who will be the ’22 Most Valuable Oriole?

* Jordan Lyles threw 180 innings last season for Texas. How many innings will the right-hander throw this coming year for the Orioles?
* What will Cedric Mullins do for an encore after his great 2021, when he batted .291/.360/.518/.878 and become the first 30-30 player in club history. Can he approach those numbers again? Where might he fall off on the stat sheet?
* Does Grayson Rodriguez get to Baltimore this season? How many starts will he make?
* Former O’s manager Buck Showalter is back in the dugout, getting a three-year deal to skipper the New York Mets. How will he do on his return to the bright lights of that city? What were his biggest strengths and weaknesses with the Orioles and how will his time here be remembered?
